Planning

As a company with extensive onsite experience, we are sure to consider every geographic feature regarding site layout, building orientation and infrastructure support when constructing a new building.

Working with our architect and timber frame specialist Jack Sobon, our initial drawings are rendered by hand, allowing rapid visualization of ideas. We are also able to create full 3D renderings and 2D shop drawings through CAD. This allows us to render a project in full perspective and specify each aspect of the building, giving shape to your ideas.

From there our in-house design team develops design concepts often influenced through the process of getting to know our clients’ needs. With a focus on quality and timelessness, we are inspired by the past, while keeping modern functionality and comfort in mind.

Our holistic approach enables us to guide you seamlessly through the decision making process and actualize a project that is beautifully designed and cohesive throughout.

Timber framing and finish carpentry are only part of the equation. As an experienced general contracting firm, extra care is given to selecting subcontractors that are experienced and knowledgeable. Expert excavation and foundation work, stone masonry and mechanical systems are all crucial elements to the entire construction process.
